GLB Crushing Services is an Australian family-owned business established in 1996.
We’re a hands-on business built by operators. With decades of experience across contract crushing, screening, and plant sales and hire solutions across civil, mining, and infrastructure sectors, we know the industry inside out — from the seat of the machine to the final spec of the material.
What started with a single truck and an excavator has grown into a multi-arm operation trusted across civil, mining, and infrastructure projects. We pride ourselves on keeping things simple: deliver quality machines, the right crew, and get the job done properly.
Ged Byrne – Director
With a career spanning diesel fitting, civil contracting, engineering, quarrying, and land development, Ged brings a deep, hands-on understanding of machinery and large-scale projects. Beginning as a diesel fitter for John Deere and Hastings Deering, he later built a successful contracting and engineering business, manufacturing over 200 civil water tanks for major companies including Caterpillar and Westrac.
He has extensive experience in quarrying, C&D recycling, and land development, managing everything from greenfield remediation to turnkey commercial projects. His operational background and industry knowledge provide invaluable insight into equipment selection, maintenance, and project delivery.
Brian Davies – Operations Manager
